Hello and welcome to my website. Have you ever felt like your mind is a ball of string that needs help to untangle? Maybe you are in a time in your life where you would benefit from a pause button, or a single moment to just be...I understand the first step is the hardest and most challenging when seeing a counsellor. I want to bring a sense of safety, warmth and trust. To provide a space where any word, emotion or feeling is welcome. I allow the client to experience the power of being truly listened too, where they are in control and are heard. This is your time, your space.

Passionate about Counselling

I am a qualified Therapeutic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I qualified with Devon and Cornwall Counselling Hub and I am professional accredited registered with and adhere to NCS ( National Counselling Society) ethical guidelines. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce clarity and self-motivation. I also teach techniques to better manage the emotional stress of everyday life.I do also have an enhanced  DBS check

Integrative

The power of being listened to plus awareness can equal a choice to change

I work as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, which means I have trained in multiple theoretical approaches , such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Transpersonal and Person Centred. This enables me to adapt my approach to best suit the individual I am working with. I work with the Connections Model, seeing the individual as a whole person, made up of different parts; mind, body, soul and emotion. If one of these parts becomes disconnected, it can help to try and reconnect them to that part for a better sense of wellbeing. We will work together at a pace that suits you, to explore a deeper understanding of what comes up. I can be there to support and guide you through what may emerge. I believe that not everyone knows where to start, and usually, if one is allowed to let out freely what comes up it will become easier for the process.
